What’s goin down in the hood?

What’s happenin y’all?
Joby Cook comin at ya from Hood River, OR.
It’s been a wet winter here in the NW. The mountain hasn’t had tons of snow but the terrain park crews have stepped up their game this year. I have enjoyed a lot of blue bird days on the hill and gettin some snow shred on.

Haven’t had a chance to kite at all this winter with my new 2010 RPM’s, but am ready to get on the water once things warm up a bit more this spring. The wakeboards and bindings have been workin great behind boat and the kite. Stoked to get the new bindings out on the water, too.
Heading back out to Cape Hatteras in June, and to REAL Kiteboarding’s 5th annual SSS invitational to ride the best kite terrain park in the world, with some of the best park riders in the world. It’s gonna be a great time with a fun group of riders and friends. Come and check it out!
Also, this July in Hood River, The Slider Project will be hosting another fun and progressive wakestyle kite event. This event will have a qualifying round earlier in the week for riders who are not invited. Winners of the qualifier will be entered into the main event and be able to ride against some of the best wakestyle kite riders in the world. There will be more info on this event to be announced soon, so stay tuned to kitescoop.com and nwkite.com for all the details.
Hope to see you on the water!!!
